I've baked four loaves of apple-orange-nut bread, and I've got two loaves of banana nut in the oven. While they're baking, I sit in my freshly cleaned living room with the classical music channel playing, and I knit.
It's lovely.
There is more school craziness in coming weeks, but for the moment I am enjoying the peace.
Sigh.

Sounds wonderful. I have introduced Tinseltroos to a BBC radio comedy series called, I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue and her new favourite hobby is curling up on the sofa, knitting and listening to episodes of that. All over the world people are making themselves cosy and knitting.
